Your tasks:

As a financial assistant, you will play a supporting role between PEPCO’s finance and accounting department. You will manage the daily communication with the branches. First and foremost, you ensure that all information reaches the stakeholders on time and that the processes work properly and on time.

Your responsibilities therefore include:

  • Organization, collection and management of financial documents among the stakeholders
  • Collecting accounting information and forwarding it to finance team
  • Maintaining the invoice approval workflow
  • Organization of cash pick-ups / payment terminal orders, tax-free forms for the branches and maintenance of contacts with external suppliers in billing and financial matters
  • Assistance with the necessary bank documents
  • Cash handling assistance
  • You are the first point of contact for the branches every day and offer financial training for the branches
  • Coordination of the archiving process and documentation of processes
  • Participation in ad hoc projects within the finance department on site at the head office

Your profile:

  • Good command of English language (level B2 or above)
  • An academic background and 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • High problem-solving orientation, motivation and acceptance for standard processes and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax regulations
